A new monitor for babies born to the world’s highest-profile parents has become the most-tweeted-about product ever.
The monitor, called Nabp Cpe Monitor, was first spotted by BuzzFeed on Friday.
The gadget is designed to monitor the heart rate of a newborn for 10 minutes and track blood pressure and oxygen levels in their bloodstreams.
The device is also designed to track the brain activity of babies who have a stroke or an emergency in the womb.
The Nabp was developed by a British company called Becton Dickinson and has already sold more than 40,000 units.
The firm is also developing a version for babies to use in the hospital.
It will cost £1,000 ($1,980).
A spokesman for Nabp said the device would be available to parents by the end of April.
“This is a device that can provide valuable information and will not only help parents, but also our staff to monitor their newborns closely,” the spokesman said.
“Parents will not have to worry about the device failing as we are able to take care of it as long as necessary and we’re confident that it will last a lifetime.”
